We aim to strengthen seniors’ civic competences and prepare concrete community initiatives to be implemented in Lędziny after the mobility. At the same time, we will increase accessibility for participants with fewer opportunities by reducing financial, mobility and digital barriers. The project will also professionalise the Foundation’s capacity to deliver adult education mobilities (quality, safety and learning recognition procedures).
We are applying for funding to strengthen the civic education programme for seniors delivered together with the Municipal Cultural Centre in Lędziny and to translate it into tangible action within the local community. The mobility in Austria will enable the transfer of proven methods (including inclusive solutions for participants with fewer opportunities) and the development of quality and safety procedures, ensuring that future mobilities and follow-up activities are repeatable and sustainable
