The project “Digital Choices, Green Future” was developed in response to the growing need to combine digital and environmental education in youth work. Issues such as the carbon footprint of the Internet, the life cycle of electronic devices, and responsible use of technology are still poorly addressed in formal education, despite the fact that they directly relate to the everyday choices of young people. The aim of the project is to strengthen young people’s competences in the field of digital ecology and to develop their awareness, sense of agency and civic responsibility. The project is based on the assumption that young people are active co-creators of the educational process. Within the framework of the international youth exchange, participants analyse their own digital habits, explore the environmental impact of using digital technologies, and jointly seek more sustainable solutions that can be implemented in everyday life and in local communities. The project strengthens a youth-led approach and non-formal learning based on experience, dialogue and reflection. The international character of the activity enables young people to learn about perspectives from Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia and to better understand the transnational nature of environmental challenges.
