Objectives

The EcoYouth: Act for Water & Green Future project aims to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to take action on water conservation, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. By engaging youth in nonformal education, hands-on learning, and international collaboration, the project will develop green competencies that are crucial for tackling climate challenges. The objectives of the project from the perspective of youth work practice include: Enhancing awareness of water conservation and sustainability among young people by providing educational activities, practical workshops, and eco-friendly lifestyle training. Developing green skills and leadership abilities through experiential learning, problem-solving activities, and project-based work focused on environmental protection. Fostering active youth participation in climate action by encouraging young people to engage with local communities, policymakers, and sustainability initiatives. Encouraging intercultural learning and international collaboration among youth from Poland, Slovakia, and Czechia, strengthening their European identity and cooperation in addressing global environmental issues. Supporting the inclusion of youth from rural areas by providing equal opportunities for learning and engagement in sustainability projects. The project will result in greater youth involvement in environmental activism, improved leadership skills, and the implementation of sustainability initiatives in local communities. It will also promote long-term engagement in Erasmus+ opportunities and inspire participants to continue their work as eco-leaders and change-makers
