Objectives

Our youth from Slovakia, Hungary, and Lithuania are very keen on carrying out the project titled "Healthy Live Balance" because we've collectively noticed alarming signs of the unhealthy lifestyle that we, young people, are currently leading in our local communities and across Europe. We have mutually recognized that we spend too much time on internet-based communication and too little time on in-person interactions, which is why we are so committed to this international exchange. This topic is an expression of our shared interests. We have jointly decided we want to change this and implement a project with this very theme. We see the need to spark interest among ourselves and other young people in a healthy lifestyle that improves mental well-being and allows for more effective coping with daily problems than dwelling in a sense of helplessness. The project aims to: 1. Promoting a healthy lifestyle. 2. Stimulate you to work on yourself. 3. Activate us to act. 4. Shape proper eating habits. 5. Introduce the principles of rational nutrition. 6. Raise awareness of the threats resulting from: unhealthy eating, the fight against overweight and obesity, environmental protection and the threat of taking stimulants. 7. Encourage physical activity. 8. Caring for the environment. 9. Create positive role models among young people. 10. Compare the eating habits and lifestyles of all exchange participants from Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania and Hungary. 11. Learn about tolerance (including obese people), xenophobia, sense of solidarity and otherness. 12. Deepen knowledge of other cultures and their history, open up to diversity, break false stereotypes. 13. Searching for common solutions to limit the time spent mainly in front of smartphones. 14. Improve your language skills - English in practice.
