Objectives

By implementing “Methods to Impact – Facilitation Skills Lab” we want to improve the quality and impact of everyday youth work in all participating organisations by strengthening youth workers’ facilitation competences and ensuring that new methods are transferred into regular practice. The objectives of the project are to: 1. Develop practical facilitation skills of youth workers through a hands-on “skills lab” approach (practice, micro-teaching, peer feedback and reflection), so they can design and lead high-quality non-formal learning processes with young people. 2. Strengthen inclusive facilitation in daily youth work, enabling youth workers to adapt activities to diverse groups and young people with fewer opportunities, and to create safe and participatory learning environments. 3. Equip participants with a transfer-ready toolbox (creative, visual and experiential facilitation methods, reflection tools and practical templates) that can be directly used in workshops, group work and youth participation processes. 4. Ensure real organisational change by implementing follow-up actions within 12 weeks after the mobility: each partner will run an internal staff/volunteer workshop, deliver a youth-facing pilot session, and adopt at least one method or routine into regular youth work practice. 5. Support recognition of learning outcomes (Youthpass-oriented reflection and documentation) and strengthen cooperation between organisations so that improved facilitation practice continues beyond the project and is shared with wider youth work networks.
