Living library is a powerful method, which: - gives marginalized people a platform to share their story and be heard - facilitates personal interaction with Books (stigmatized people), helps reduce prejudice and foster empathy in communities -acts as catalyst for social change -promotes inclusion, helping break down stereotypes and exclusion. The aim of this project is to improve the competences of 25 youth workers from 5 different countries in planning, organizing and implementing living library events, to help fight stigma in their communities. The objectives we defined for this project refer to all participants: 1. The participants will learn about the Living Library: its history, application, needed steps for its successful implementation. 2. The participants will have improved skills for organizing Living Library events, proven by the events each partner NGO will organize in their community in the follow-up period. 3. The participants will feel more confident, motivated and empowered to be active youth workers and to create opportunities for engagement in their communities.
