Objectives

By implementing this project, we aim to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to create inclusive environments where all young people feel valued, supported, and empowered. Our primary objective is to equip youth workers with the skills, knowledge, and practical tools needed to address the diverse needs of young people, focusing on those from marginalized or underrepresented groups. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project focuses on: DEVELOPING INCLUSION SKILLS Providing youth workers with practical methods for inclusion, such as adapting activities for young people with disabilities, creating safe spaces for LGBT+ youth, and addressing socio-economic challenges. KNOWLEDGE SHARING & PEER LEARNING Creating a platform for youth workers from different countries to exchange experiences, share best practices, and learn from one another about implementing inclusivity in various contexts. EMPOWERING YOUTH WORKERS Building confidence and competence among participants to navigate sensitive topics, foster open dialogue, and lead by example in creating inclusive spaces. ENHANCING ORGANISATIONAL PRACTICES Providing youth workers with tailored roadmaps that fit their organisational contexts, enabling them to put new inclusion practices into action, share their learning within their organisations, and ultimately improve the quality of youth work and ensure more equitable access to opportunities for young people. LEADING INNOVATION BY EXAMPLE By implementing up-to-date inclusion practices in the project, we will model innovative approaches to inclusive youth work. These practices will be shared with partner organisations and their networks so they can apply and further develop them in their own contexts, and drive positive change in the field of inclusive youth work. The project seeks to foster a collaborative, international approach to inclusivity and accessibility in youth work, ensuring that young people from all backgrounds feel welcome, respected, and supported. By investing in the professional growth of youth workers, we aim to create a ripple effect that benefits the young people they work with and the broader community.
