Inclusion of marginalised young peopleRoma and/or other minoritiesQuality and innovation of youth work

Objectives

The project aims to strengthen the quality, inclusiveness and innovation of youth work by equipping youth workers with practical, transferable methods for working with Roma communities and other underrepresented groups. It responds to clearly identified needs in practice: limited capacity to analyse complex local realities, lack of culturally sensitive approaches, and lack of engaging non-formal tools that can turn inclusion values into concrete educational action. From a youth work practice perspective, our objectives are to: build youth workers’ competences in Human Rights Education and non-formal education methods connected to inclusion, participation and anti-discrimination; support youth workers in moving from analysis to action through a two-step learning pathway (context-based learning in Albania + tool creation in Poland); develop the ability to use gamification and design-thinking methods as practical tools for inclusion work with young people; strengthen facilitation, debriefing, inclusive communication and collaborative design skills so that youth workers can lead high-quality learning processes in their own organisations; foster attitudes and behaviours needed in inclusive youth work: empathy, critical reflection, ethical representation of minority realities, and confidence in countering stereotypes and dehumanising narratives. A core objective is also organisational transformation: participants are expected to apply the methods in their daily work, transfer them to colleagues, and strengthen their organisations’ long-term capacity to run inclusive, participatory and innovative youth activities
