We want to carry out this project because we see the need to introduce innovative methods for engaging young people that support the development of social skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in youth work practice. Our goal is to equip training participants – people working with young people in schools, NGOs, or cultural centers – with gamification tools that will allow them to conduct more engaging, interactive, and inclusive educational activities. The project aims not only to provide theoretical knowledge but, above all, to give participants the opportunity to apply the methods in practice by conducting activities and game tournaments with youth, including those with diverse needs and disabilities. In this way, we aim to develop key competences among young people, such as teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and responsible decision-making, while also enhancing their motivation and sense of agency. An additional goal of the project is to create educational resources – lesson plans, toolkits, and multimedia materials – that can be used by youth workers in other contexts, thereby increasing the reach and sustainability of the project. Through online activities, webinars, knowledge-sharing platforms, and social media, we aim to widely share the project’s outcomes, inspiring others to implement innovative methods in their work with young people. Ultimately, our goal is to improve the quality of youth work, strengthen the competences of facilitators, and create a long-term impact on youth communities by promoting gamification methods that combine education, integration, and personal development.
