The project was developed in response to the growing need to strengthen young people’s meaningful participation in democratic life, particularly in the digital sphere, where public debate is increasingly polarised, simplified and vulnerable to disinformation. While young people express interest in social and European issues, they often lack the competences and tools necessary for conscious, responsible and effective civic engagement. The main objective of the project is to develop digital participation, critical thinking and civic communication competences among young people from Poland, Spain and Italy, to increase their sense of agency and to create space for dialogue with media representatives and decision-makers. The project aims to produce concrete outcomes, including a Code of Responsible Youth Communication and a report presenting young people’s perspectives, conclusions and recommendations.
