The EcoResilient project addresses three problems facing Silesian youth. First, eco-anxiety is growing: 75% of young people report stress about the climate future (Hickman et al., The Lancet, 2021). Second, climate disinformation on social media deepens anxiety and hinders informed debate. Third, young Silesians feel excluded from the ecological transformation of their region. The project will engage 30 leaders (aged 18-30) in a cycle of non-formal workshops building resilience to eco-anxiety. 200 young people will develop competences in critical analysis of disinformation and using AI for fact-checking. Three Climate Round Tables will enable youth-decision-maker dialogue. The result will be the "Silesian Youth Climate Charter" — a policy recommendations document delivered to 5 local governments. The project aligns with EU Youth Goal #10 (Sustainable Green Europe) and #5 (Mental Health and Wellbeing).
