The “Digital Balance” project has three main objectives: (1) Strengthening awareness and competencies of 500+ young people (18-25) in healthy digital technology use - not through prohibition but through understanding addiction mechanisms and practical tools; (2) Training 50 young digital wellbeing leaders who will educate peers through peer-to-peer method across Poland; (3) Developing policy recommendations and presenting them to decision-makers - because young people deserve a voice on issues affecting them. The project addresses urgent needs: 35% of girls and 27% of boys in Poland show problematic smartphone use (NASK 2024), and 55% of youth admit they would like to reduce phone usage. However, there’s a lack of tools created BY youth FOR youth.
