The project addresses the problem of symbolic youth participation in public life. Young people are active in youth / student councils, social initiatives, but they rarely have influence on decision-making processes or access to resources. Their actions are often incidental and lack structural mechanisms for cooperation and co-decision. The aim of the project is to create and test a mechanism for real youth influence within the organisation and local communities. This includes developing the competences of young leaders, establishing and piloting a youth advisory and program body, and supporting initiatives engaging at least 200 young people. The innovative element of the project is a model of youth co-decision on the use of funds from the 1.5% tax allocation, which links civic education with a real financial resource. The project will also result in a set of recommendations and a model description that can be used by other organisations working with young people.
