Objectives

Our primary objective with this project is to introduce our young people to new generation employment opportunities in the Smart Agriculture (AgriTech) sector within the rapidly digitalising global economy and to foster a strong career awareness in this field. Among the concrete objectives of our project is to transform young people's perception of agriculture from traditional and physical labour to a technology-focused and high value-added entrepreneurial field. Specifically, to prevent migration from rural to urban areas, we aim to make young people part of local development by practically demonstrating future professions such as drone piloting, agricultural data analysis, and automation expertise. From a youth work perspective, we aim to carry out this technical transformation process entirely through non-formal education methods, rather than through the theoretical and hierarchical patterns of formal education. Our goal is not only to equip young people with technical knowledge, but also to enhance their digital literacy, crisis management skills and entrepreneurial confidence through simulation games, field studies and cross-cultural peer learning. In this way, we aim to transform young people from passive consumers of technology into active agents of change who will initiate the Smart Agriculture revolution in their own regions and create employment opportunities.
