Your Inner Gaia responds to the urgent need to reconnect young people with both their personal well-being and the environmental sustainability of their communities. Many young people face mental health challenges such as anxiety, stress, and depression, while at the same time feeling powerless in the face of global environmental and social crises. This project recognizes the interconnection of these issues and aims to equip youth with practical tools, resilience, and empowerment to take action. By combining Gaia Theory, sustainability, and non-formal education, the project creates a holistic framework that helps participants understand how their inner balance is directly linked to ecological and social health. The project particularly engages youth with fewer opportunities - those facing economic, social, geographical, or health barriers - to ensure inclusivity and equity. 1. Objectives: Personal Well-Being & Sustainability Empower 30 participants with few opportunities over a 11-day program with skills for self-awareness, emotional resilience, and stress management. Introduce practical tools such as mindfulness, permaculture, and sustainable living techniques, linking ecological responsibility with personal health. Strengthen youth capacity to cope with anxiety, stress, and societal pressures through nature-based practices. 2. Community Resilience & Active Citizenship: Foster collaboration, shared responsibility, and community-oriented values through group activities. Equip young people with the confidence and skills to design and implement local initiatives that integrate well-being and environmental action. Inspire participants to act as multipliers of change in their communities, raising awareness and promoting sustainability. 3. Youth Empowerment & Leadership: Build critical thinking, self-sufficiency, and entrepreneurial skills, encouraging participants to take ownership of their personal and professional futures. Nurture leadership qualities so that participants can design, lead, and promote youth-driven solutions addressing social and ecological challenges. 4. Intercultural Dialogue & Network Building: Promote mutual respect, tolerance, and European values through intercultural collaboration among diverse participants. Provide a space where young people from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds can learn from each other, exchange practices, and create lasting networks. Methodology The project activities have been reviewed to ensure a clear pedagogical progression from personal awareness to collective action. Each activity is now explicitly linked to specific learning objectives and outcomes. •Mindfulness, eco-psychology and nature-based practices contribute directly to objectives related to mental health, emotional resilience, and self-awareness (nature walks, meditation, reflection circles) •Hands-on permaculture and sustainable living workshops support the development of concrete green competences and responsible environmental behaviour (intro to permaculture, gardening, zero waste, compost, animal husbandry, sustainable architecture, Systems-thinking and Gaia Theory workshops linking personal and planetary resilience.) •Non-formal education methodologies such as experiential learning, Open Space, Public presentation event where participants will share their initiatives with the wider community, peer learning, and reflection circles - ensure active participation, ownership, and meaningful learning. •Daily reflection and Youthpass processes allow participants to identify and articulate learning outcomes related to personal, social, civic, and green competences. This strengthened explanation ensures a logical and transparent connection between activities, methods, objectives, and results, improving the clarity and quality of the project design. Expected Results: By the end of the project, participants will: Develop a stronger connection with themselves, their communities, and the environment. Gain practical skills and knowledge in sustainable living and resilience. Be empowered to take initiative locally and globally, promoting sustainability and mental well-being. Strengthen their role as active European citizens, embodying Erasmus+ values of inclusion, participation, and solidarity.
