Objectives

The project aims, first and foremost, to respond to one of Europe's major current challenges: the growing presence of populist, racist, and xenophobic discourses associated with migration phenomena, which have been exploited by far-right movements and directly influence young people's perceptions of diversity and inclusion. By implementing this project, we aim to create a safe and intercultural space where young people can understand migration as an integral part of European identity, deconstruct stereotypes, and develop skills that empower them as active agents of citizenship. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project's central objectives are: - Promote European citizenship education through non-formal education methodologies, allowing young people to critically reflect on social phenomena such as migration, inclusion, and cultural diversity. - Develop fundamental transversal skills in youth work, such as critical thinking, intercultural communication, leadership, media literacy, and democratic participation, helping young people become more aware and resilient citizens in the face of hate speech or populist discourse. - Empower young people as multipliers in their communities, providing them with practical tools to disseminate results and promote inclusion and diversity in local, school, or association contexts. - Reinforce the principles of the Erasmus+ inclusion and diversity strategy by involving young people with fewer opportunities, providing them with a transformative international experience, and creating conditions for their full participation. - Create an international youth work network that deepens cooperation between organizations from different countries, strengthening the skills of professionals and volunteers involved and promoting the exchange of best practices. In short, with this project, we aim for the young participants not only to be recipients of information, but also to experience, through non-formal education methodology, educational processes that allow them to understand, act, and transform their local realities. The expected impact goes beyond individual learning: by multiplying the results in their communities, young people will contribute to building more inclusive, critical societies aligned with the fundamental values of the European Union.
