The ""Poiares Youth 1.0"" project consists of creating a process of active participation in the territory, creating a set of structured dialogue sessions and co-creation moments in which local youth have real influence in defining youth policies. Therefore, the general objectives of the project are: - To empower young people from Vila Nova de Poiares in terms of social, intercultural and democratic literacy skills, enabling them to understand local and European decision-making processes and participate in an informed way in the territory; - To promote closer ties and constructive dialogue between young people and political decision-makers in Vila Nova de Poiares, providing spaces, support and means for the joint co-construction of solutions; - To encourage the participation of young people with fewer opportunities by linking the challenges of Vila Nova de Poiares to the goals of the EU Youth Strategy, reinforcing the feeling of belonging to a European community of shared values.
