VILA JOVEM PARTICIPA aims to move youth participation in Vila do Conde from isolated “moments” to a continuous, inclusive process with real follow-up. We will strengthen civic and political literacy, critical thinking and communication, and establish routines for listening, deliberation, dialogue with decision-makers, public feedback and follow-up. The project reduces participation barriers (economic, educational, geographical and confidence-related) and ensures safe, respectful, non-discriminatory spaces. Objectives: (1) build young people’s capacity for informed democratic participation; (2) implement participation activities in schools and local communities using accessible methods; (3) deliver structured youth–decision maker dialogue with documented answers; (4) produce and publicly return a Vila do Conde Youth Agenda and a continuity plan, aligned with Youth Goals and EU values.
