Objectives

Through the implementation of this project, we intend to use all trips and activities as a youth work tool capable of promoting inclusion, learning, and personal growth among underprivileged young people from rural backgrounds. This project was conceived not only as a travel experience but as a structured educational process, centered on the participants and aligned with the principles of youth work. From the perspective of youth work practice, our main objective is to create real opportunities for young people who would otherwise have little access to European mobility, reducing inequalities and promoting equal participation. Through this project, we seek to support young people in developing their autonomy, confidence, and capacity for active participation. This project also aims to strengthen the educational dimension of youth work, using non-formal and experiential learning as a development tool. Through preparation, experiencing mobility, and reflection, participants will be supported in building personal, social, and intercultural skills, such as autonomy, adaptability, communication, cooperation, and openness to diversity. Another central objective is to promote youth empowerment, encouraging our young participants to take an active role in their own learning path, decision-making, and sharing experiences with other young people. This process will contribute to increasing self-esteem, a sense of capability, and awareness of their role as young European citizens. From the perspective of youth work, our project also aims to: -Develop and promote inclusive practices adapted to young people with fewer opportunities. -Strengthen learning through international mobility and structured reflection. -Promote youth participation and active involvement of young people. -Use tools such as Youthpass to recognize learning. -Encourage continued participation in youth and European initiatives. -Strengthen the link between youth, the local community, and the European dimension. In the long term, we aim to contribute to more confident, open-minded, and aware young people, as well as to a more inclusive, participatory youth work practice aligned with the values of the Erasmus program. Our project aims to demonstrate that European mobility can be a powerful tool for personal and social transformation, especially for young people with fewer opportunities.
