We aim to modernize VET training by providing 20 students access to advanced technologies and green practices (e.g., zero waste, digital tools) unavailable locally. Simultaneously, we target the professional development of 4 teachers to adopt innovative methodologies and create digital resources, compensating for the lack of updated textbooks. Ultimately, we seek to boost the employability and motivation of students from rural areas through international mobility.
We applied to address critical gaps in our VET system. Located in a small town, 40% of our students commute from rural areas and lack access to modern training facilities. Local businesses often lack the latest technology , and teachers struggle without updated textbooks. This project is essential to provide 20 vulnerable students and 4 staff members with access to European standards in digitalization and sustainability, which are impossible to achieve locally.
