Objectives

RESILIENT FUTURESaims to provide an integrated response to two of the greatest challenges young people face today: climate change and emotional health. The project creates a European framework for learning and solidarity, where 35 young people with and without fewer opportunities and 5 group leaders, from 5 countries, will work together to understand and experience how planetary health and their inner well-being are closely connected. GOAL:To create a non-discriminatory non-formal learning space in which 40 European participants will explore together the concepts of climate change, emotional resilience and planetary health, in order to develop inclusive behaviors of civic engagement in relation to the environment Objectives To increase the awareness of 40 participants, from 5 countries, on the concept of planetary health and on the links between climate change and emotional health, for 8 months To acquire a set of specific skills in supporting emotional resilience and developing responsible and sustainable behavior, using Mindfulness, Playback Theater, Living Newspaper, Mind Mapping in an ecological context, among 40 participants from 5 countries, for 11 days. Promoting eco-inclusion and emotional resilience through non-formal ecological activities in mixed groups of young people with and without opportunities, encouraging equal opportunities, respect and solidarity among 40 participants from 5 countries, for 8 months. Creating a European network of young ambassadors of climate and emotional resilience, who will continue to be actively involved in their communities after the project is completed, by strengthening the civic, participation and leadership skills of the 40 participants from 5 European organizations, for a period of 8 months. This network will represent a nucleus of initiative and result-multiplication, by organizing local actions, campaigns, and future projects that carry forward the message of the project. Thus, through its objectives, RESILIENT FUTURES does not aim merely to provide information, but to create a transformative experience for young people, strengthening essential competences for personal and community life: emotional resilience, critical thinking, civic spirit, and responsibility towards the environment.
