Objectives

The project EcoPreneurs Without Borders aims to support young people in developing entrepreneurial, ecological, and civic skills within an international non-formal learning environment. Through the implementation of this project, we seek to create a space where young people can explore sustainable business ideas, develop innovative solutions for local environmental challenges, and learn to collaborate interculturally, thereby increasing their civic responsibility and active participation in the community. The project’s objectives focus on the specific needs of young people from a youth work perspective. Firstly, it aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and practical abilities in planning, managing, and implementing projects with social and environmental impact. Secondly, we intend to raise young people’s awareness of environmental issues and sustainable practices through hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and “learning by doing” initiatives, such as recycling, reducing food waste, conserving resources, and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle. Another key objective is to strengthen intercultural and communication skills, enabling young people to work effectively in international teams and to value cultural diversity as a resource in the learning and innovation process. Through non-formal activities and digital components, participants will acquire digital and methodological skills that allow them to document and disseminate project results while also developing critical thinking and the ability to reflect on their own learning. The project also seeks to foster leadership and civic engagement by involving young people in organizing local workshops, public presentations, and dissemination campaigns both in their communities and online. Participants will thus become ambassadors of change, applying the knowledge and skills they acquire and promoting good practices among other young people and local communities. Moreover, the project promotes social inclusion by offering participation opportunities to young people with fewer opportunities, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Activities are designed to be accessible, adaptable, and relevant to all participants, contributing to equity and solidarity within the group. In conclusion, through the implementation of ECO-FF project, we aim to support young people in developing entrepreneurial, ecological, and civic competencies, stimulate creativity and critical thinking, promote social inclusion, and strengthen their active involvement in the community, while providing an international, practical, and sustainable learning experience with long-term impact.
