Objectives

The "Green Warriors" project aims to address two critical challenges facing today's generation: the disconnection from nature and the increasing digital dependency. By implementing a 14-day Youth Exchange in the Carpathian Mountains (Romania), we strive to transform young people from passive consumers into active protectors of the environment. Specific Objectives: Promote Sustainability: To equip participants from Romania, Greece, and Turkey with practical "Leave No Trace" skills and eco-habits (zero waste, biodegradable hygiene, renewable energy usage) that they can apply in their daily lives. Digital Well-being: To improve participants' mental health and social skills through a "Digital Detox" methodology, demonstrating that life offline is rich and fulfilling. Social Inclusion: To provide equal access to outdoor education for youth with fewer opportunities (economic/geographic barriers) by covering all logistical costs and providing free professional mountain equipment. Youth Work Development: To validate outdoor experiential learning as a powerful tool for building resilience, autonomy, and cross-cultural cooperation among European youth.
