Objectives

The aim of the project “Aware, Safe and Seen” is to increase young people’s safety, inclusion, and communication capacity on topics related to consent, personal boundaries, and prevention, through applied non-formal education and local actions. Through implementation, we want to create a safe non-formal learning space where young people can discuss responsibly and without stigma topics such as consent, personal boundaries, prevention, healthy relationships, diversity, and inclusion. The project aims to support participants to become better informed, more confident, and more able to communicate clearly about sensitive topics, using non-formal methods (Psychodrama, ESPERE, PhotoVoice, workshops) that focus on experience, reflection, and real-life application. The project objectives are: 1. To develop participants knowledge, attitudes, and communication and relationship skills related to inclusive sexuality education, by using three non-formal learning methods (Psychodrama, ESPERE and PhotoVoice) with 30 young people from five European countries, during a nine-day youth mobility activity. 2. To strengthen the organisational capacity of the five partner NGOs from Romania, Turkey, Serbia, Portugal and Poland to deliver inclusive sexuality education for young people, through the exchange of resources, methods and good practices during the mobility and throughout a seven-month project period. 3. To increase awareness and empathy regarding the rights of young people with fewer opportunities, by ensuring the active participation of 15 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, supported by structured reflection and self-reflection sessions, with learning outcomes assessed throughout the mobility.
