The situation in our country with an average of 1.4% from GDP of the circular economy (critical as position in the EU countries with the average of 11.5% - see Eurostat and taking into consideration the prognosis of a growth of 30%) it is necessary the proposed idea of the project to prepare the youth workers with this domain During the preparatory meetings, each organization realized an internal analisys regarding the way that the youth workers performed activities with young people. It is clearly that, despite the frequent educational activities, the youth workers do not have the methods and instruments in order to integrate the theme of sustainability and circular economy in current activities. That lack of methodology represents the real need of this project. The project intent to create a good environment to develop abilities and skills with important impact for the youth workers participants (meaning personal growth and dissemination of the acquired competencies). Objective 1: Increasing skills in circular economy and sustainability for 25 youth workers (5 from each partner country). This will be achieved through participation in intensive training sessions, practical workshops, and study visits that provide them with the knowledge and tools necessary to become effective mentors in the field of circular economy and sustainability in their communities. These skills will allow them to integrate the principles of sustainability into youth programs and activities, thereby contributing to the formation of a generation of conscious and responsible young people. Within the project, the organization will cooperate with Green Tech (as relevant stakeholder) in order to disseminate the project results. The involvement of Green Tech (one of the relevant companies in Eastern and Central Europe in the area of recycling) will consolidate the practical dimension of the involvement of the circular economy and sustainability of the reciclyng. This cooperation will ensure the practical relevance and koowledge transfer of the project results to the community. Objective 2: Development and implementation of 5 pilot circular economy projects in the participants' communities. Each national group of youth workers will design and implement an initiative that demonstrates the application of circular economy principles, measuring its impact through specific indicators such as waste reduction and selective collection, increased recycling rates, or promoting responsible consumption (case study RETURO). Innovation and mentoring: youth workers participating in the project activities will gain valuable experience in designing and implementing innovative pilot projects, thereby developing their mentoring for this type of activities. This experience will help them become mentors in the field of sustainability and circular economy, capable of inspiring and guiding young people in initiating their own actions for positive change. Developing new skills for youth workers, integrating new methods and practices that improve the quality and relevance of youth activities, with a focus on sustainability and the circular economy. Objective 3: Strengthening the collaboration network between partner organizations and improving the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the field of circular economy. Building partnerships and networks: by participating in the project activities, we will provide youth workers with the opportunity to build and strengthen collaborative networks with other organizations and professionals in the youth field, both nationally and internationally. These partnerships and networks will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and resources, thereby improving the quality and impact of youth activities. Impact on youth work practice: -Innovative approaches: implementing the project will encourage the adoption of innovative and creative approaches in working with young people, promoting non- formal education and active involvement of young people in environmental and sustainability issues. -Positive modeling: youth workers will serve as positive role models for young people, demonstrating how individual and collective actions can contribute to a more sustainable future. -Sustainability and long-term impact: the "Circular Generation" project will contribute to the development of a solid foundation for sustainable practices in youth work, ensuring that the message and actions related to the circular economy and sustainability will have a lasting impact on young people and their communities. Through these dimensions, the project not only improves the practice of working with young people through the professional and personal development of youth workers but also through their direct contribution to forming a generation of young people aware of the importance of sustainability and capable of acting for a better future.
