The implementation of the B.R.I.D.G.E. project aims to provide youth workers with a comprehensive set of theoretical and practical insights regarding the delivery of educational workshops, civic engagement, and combating disinformation. Our primary goal is to professionalize the educational intervention of the participating organizations, ensuring they function as high-impact educational institutions within their communities. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project seeks to transform the traditional approach to education into a participatory, engaging experience rooted in the real needs of the current generation through non-formal education methodologies. Specific Objectives: 1) Professional Competence Development To develop the professional competences of 28 youth workers from 7 European countries in utilizing innovative non-formal education methods to combat civic apathy and disinformation among youth, by the end of the mobility in Iași. 2) Local Civic Activation To increase the level of democratic participation and critical thinking for a minimum of 250 young people from the partner communities by implementing at least 25 local workshops focused on identifying fake news and fostering civic engagement, organized within 6 months after the completion of the mobility. 3) Creation of Sustainable Educational Resources The Best Practice Guide serves as an open educational resource (OER) containing theoretical and practical methods for youth education through participatory non-formal activities. The guide will be distributed to at least 40 European institutions, ensuring the replicability of the project results. 4) Strengthening Institutional Capacity To strengthen the democratic resilience of at least 8 organizations by integrating new youth work methodologies into their current strategies and by establishing a transnational support network for mutual assistance throughout the project duration and post-implementation.
