Our project, Let’s Learn Outside the Box!, will run for 10 months and targets the training of 25 youth workers from Romania, Turkey, Poland, Spain, Italy, and North Macedonia. The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to use outdoor education as an innovative method to support the personal and behavioral development of young people, as well as to promote environmental responsibility. Our objectives are: By the end of the 10-month project, 25 youth workers will acquire theoretical knowledge on the principles of outdoor education, its impact on youth development, and its role in promoting sustainability. The 25 participants will develop practical skills for preparing and facilitating outdoor activities, including planning, risk management, decision-making, and problem-solving, and will learn and test at least five innovative non-formal methods applicable to youth work. At the end of the project, the 25 youth workers will demonstrate increased confidence, motivation, and commitment in using outdoor education as a tool to develop young people’s skills and to promote ecological values. After completing the training, at least 68% of participants (17 individuals) will implement at least one outdoor activity in their communities within three months.
