Objectives

The project aims to strengthen meaningful youth participation in local democratic life by empowering young people to actively engage in addressing neighbourhood-level environmental challenges and to participate in structured dialogue with decision-makers. The main objectives are to increase young people’s civic and environmental competences, especially among young people with fewer opportunities from rural and semi-urban areas; to create accessible and practical participation pathways through Youth Civic Labs, Community Micro-Actions, and Local Policy Clinics; and to improve trust and cooperation between young people and local authorities. The project also aims to enhance young people’s understanding of democratic processes at local, national, and European level through transnational cooperation and study visits. By combining learning, action, and dialogue, the project seeks to ensure that young people’s voices are heard, valued, and connected to real decision-making processes
