Through this project, we aim to strengthen a community of active, informed and responsible young people who are able to promote and defend human rights and engage actively in local community life. The objectives of the project are to increase young people’s awareness of human rights by identifying community-level issues and understanding existing protection mechanisms; to develop communication, advocacy, critical thinking, leadership and teamwork skills by providing practical tools for expressing opinions and participating in civic dialogue; and to stimulate active civic participation by involving young people in local initiatives and supporting the implementation of concrete projects. By achieving these objectives, the project will contribute to increasing young people’s confidence in their ability to generate change and to shaping a generation of young people prepared to promote a more inclusive society.
