The project aims to empower young people aged 13-18 to develop their personal, civic, and leadership competencies, enabling them to transform ideas into concrete social, environmental, and educational actions. It fosters meaningful youth participation through two complementary pathways: (1) the establishment and operationalization of a National Youth Council (NYC) with 70 core members in 2 years, supported by an advisory board of youth workers & teachers, aligned with the Design for Change (DFC) methodology; and (2) a two-stage nationwide consultative process engaging over 1,000 13-24 youth and 1,000 24+ stakeholders. The project will strengthen youth personal and civic competences through non-formal learning, peer support, and capacity-building activities. Face-to-face and online initiatives—including two trainings, the I CAN Participation Conference, a Learning Laboratory Camp, and a National Showcase & Learning Conference—will involve 340 youth participants.
