”Beyond the Platform” will support 10 young people from rural Prahova to go explore a small part of Europe, to discover the life and culture of their peers in other countries, to learn how to be independent and how to travel sustainable. By supporting these 10 young people coming from villages on Teleajen Valley, we will help them become role models for their peers and promoters of European Union programmes for young people. Moreover, they will become educated and trained adults that will be reliable and involved citizens. This project is a new step in their development process, that started for them the moment they joined activities and projects of Curba de Cultura about 4-5 years ago. Accomplishing these trips will boost their morale and confidence and give them new impulse doing more for themselves, their peers and the society in general. The participants in this project will be future youth leaders, youthworkers, or developing careers in education, social or NGO sector helping others in situations like theirs to reach their potential.
