Objectives

By implementing the project, we aim to strengthen students’ practical understanding of international business and enhance their intercultural and English language competence, enabling them to better meet the demans of an increasingly global job market. The project will also promote sustainability awareness in trade and increase equal access to international learning opportunities, helping students develop the skills, confidence, and perspectives required for future global careers.

Background

Gymnasieskolan Knut Hahn aims to prepare its VET students, many from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, for a globalized labor market. While the school works closely with local companies, students have limited exposure to international business environments. Given the importance of Germany and France as key European trade partners, there is a need to strengthen students’ understanding of international business culture, communication, customer service, and sustainable trade practice.
