The project aims to increase the competence of teachers and staff through job-shadowing in Norway and Italy, and to enable students and teachers in the Sales and Service Programme to participate in work-based learning in Italy. The objectives are to improve vocational training in construction, strengthen teaching in democracy and sustainability, develop education methods and build long-term international cooperation.
We applied for this project to strengthen vocational education at Bergska Upper Secondary School, focusing on the Building and Construction Programme and the Sales and Service Programme. Through short-term learning mobility of VET learners in Italy and job shadowing for teachers in Norway and Italy, the project aims to improve work-based learning, vocational teaching and international competence. The project will strengthen learners’ employability, language skills and professional confidence.
