The project has two main objectives. The first is to strengthen teachers’ professional competence in organising and supervising high-quality work-based learning through job shadowing. The second is to establish sustainable partnerships with European companies and training providers, creating a foundation for future learner mobility. Both objectives aim to improve the quality and labour market relevance of vocational education at Katedralskolan.
Katedralskolan in Skara provides vocational education within the Building and Construction Programme and the Sales and Service Programme. Teachers have limited experience of international cooperation and organising work-based learning abroad. This project is applied for to strengthen professional competence through job shadowing, build reliable European partnerships, and create a foundation for future high-quality international work-based learning (WBL).
