Objectives

The project is aimed at empowering young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, in the transition from education to the world of work. It is rooted in youth work and non-formal learning and addresses the concrete needs of young people who often face insecurity, a lack of information, low self-confidence, and limited access to support when searching for employment and planning their career paths. The aim of the project is to provide young people with a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment in which, through two five-day youth exchanges, they will develop and acquire knowledge, skills, and competences that are key to job searching and long-term career development. The project is based on non-formal learning methods, experiential learning, reflection, and the active participation of young people. Through the project, we aim to: - increase young people’s understanding of the labour market and job-search processes; - strengthen young people’s ability to identify, articulate, and confidently present their competences; - develop practical employability and digital skills, such as preparing a CV and motivation letter, using digital tools, and preparing for job interviews; - ensure an inclusive and safe learning environment, adapted also for young people with fewer opportunities; - strengthen the role of youth work and non-formal learning as a high-quality and effective approach to developing young people’s competences and employability. With the project, we do not want to offer young people only short-term information, but to support them in developing fundamental and transferable competences such as self-confidence, self-initiative, and communication skills, which are useful throughout their entire lives, not only in the field of employment. Through the project, we aim to contribute to greater employability of young people, reduce the risk of social exclusion, and strengthen their active role in society.
