We created this project because we are worried about how unemployment, insecurity, and an uncertain future are affecting young people’s mental health. In our daily work with young people and other NGOs, we hear the same fears again and again: not finding a job, making the wrong choices, feeling pressure to succeed, and believing that opportunities are limited. These worries often lead to stress, low self-confidence, and loss of motivation, even among capable and talented young people. We believe young people need more than job skills. They need a mindset that helps them stay mentally strong in times of uncertainty. This project shows how an entrepreneurial mindset can support mental wellbeing. For us, entrepreneurship is not about starting a business, but about learning to think independently, adapt to change, be creative, solve problems, and believe in yourself. By focusing on abundance instead of scarcity, participants learn to see value and opportunities in themselves and their communities. The project starts by building trust and a safe space where young people can share their fears and realise they are not alone. Step by step, participants experience that they can create value even with limited resources, reduce fear of failure, and grow in confidence. Sessions on values and purpose help them avoid burnout and stay motivated. Through community actions, social media campaigns, and follow-up planning, young people turn learning into action and see themselves as active contributors to society. The project aims to support young people’s mental health by helping them cope with fear, pressure, and uncertainty through an entrepreneurial way of thinking. It encourages participants to see entrepreneurship not only as starting a business, but as a mindset that helps them notice opportunities, create value, and take initiative in everyday life. The project focuses on building self-confidence, resilience, and motivation, especially in relation to unemployment, rejection, and change. Through non-formal learning, participants develop key skills such as creativity, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, while learning to see problems as chances to act and grow. At the same time, the project strengthens cooperation between young people and youth organisations from different countries and raises awareness about Erasmus+ and Youthpass as tools for learning, recognition, and future opportunities.
