With this project, we want to give young people the time and space to turn their ideas into something tangible. Our main goal is for them to see that their opinions matter and that they can actually make a difference. The entire concept is rooted in youth work, based on non-formal learning and cooperation. Therefore, our objectives aren't just about gaining dry knowledge, but primarily about developing young people as active individuals. A key starting point for this project is our Erasmus+ club, which we run in primary schools. There, we gradually introduce young people to the opportunities of the program and the basics of project work. It was in this very club that the students developed the initial idea, tested it among their peers, and then shaped it into this project design together with us. This way, the project isn't something created in an office; it stems directly from a process the students have been involved in for a long time. The main objective is to strengthen the active role of young people in environmental and social issues that they identify as important. Through the exchange, we want to enable them to understand sustainability through their own experience and connect it with the digital tools they already use and love. It is important to us that they don't just stop at thinking, but that they work together to create concrete results—from digital content to a public event—to reach out to their peers and the community. From a youth work perspective, the project focuses on developing skills that will serve them everywhere: teamwork, taking responsibility, initiative, and the ability to reflect on their own learning. Furthermore, the international environment will give them a chance to engage in intercultural dialogue and find common solutions with peers from other countries. The project also builds on continuity. All the experience and knowledge they gain during the exchange will feed back into our local activities and Erasmus+ clubs. This ensures that the project leaves a long-term mark and doesn't remain just a pleasant, one-time experience.
