Objectives

The aim of the project is to empower young people from geographically remote rural areas to become more active and visible in their local communities. The project responds to the needs of young people with fewer opportunities, limited access to information, and little experience in participating in decision-making or engaging in dialogue with decision-makers. Through non-formal learning, participants will develop confidence, knowledge, and practical skills for democratic participation, with a focus on digital topics, climate change, and other issues relevant to their lives. They will gain a better understanding of decision-making processes from the local to the European level through active participation, dialogue, reflection, and youth-led digital content creation. The project also aims to strengthen young people’s sense of responsibility towards their communities and encourage long-term civic engagement beyond the duration of the exchange.
