The aim of the project is to increase students’ employability through work-based learning in French hospitality establishments, focusing on service quality, professional communication and customer experience. The project will support the development of language, social and adaptability skills in a real working environment and enable the transfer of know-how from foreign experts into vocational teaching. Equal opportunities for disadvantaged students are also emphasised.
The project addresses the need to move vocational education in hospitality beyond technical skills towards a systematic development of graduates’ employability. Experience from previous Erasmus+ mobilities has shown that while students acquire solid professional skills, they often lack soft skills, professional behaviour, customer orientation and the ability to adapt to high service standards in an international working environment.
