The aim is for youth workers and other professionals and young leaders to be able to use AI in a meaningful, ethical and practical way to facilitate their work and improve the quality of their work with young people. The project aims to develop competences in the field of digital transformation, focusing on the understanding and practical use of AI tools in youth work and non-formal education, so that they can effectively respond to the needs of today's generation of young people. Participants enter the project with different levels of digital skills, technical background and organisational capacities. They need non-formal education that takes these differences into account, strengthens their self-confidence and enables equal access to digital tools and knowledge regardless of their country or type of organisation. The project creates a space for participants to compare their own practice with other countries and organisations, exchange good practices and gain inspiration on how digital youth work and the use of AI can be adapted to different social, cultural and organisational contexts. Objectives: to increase the ability of youth workers to meaningfully integrate digital tools and AI into non-formal education, group facilitation, activity planning and communication with young people, to strengthen the critical, ethical and responsible use of AI in youth work, including understanding the limits of technology, data protection and working with young people's data, to support youth workers in not being passive users of technology, but their conscious and reflective creators and mediators for young people, to streamline the internal processes of youth organisations (administration, planning, evaluation) through the appropriate use of digital tools, thus freeing up more capacity for direct work with young people, to respond to the digital behaviour, needs and expectations of young people, especially in online and hybrid environments. From the perspective of youth work practice, the main objectives of the project are: Developing professional competences of youth workers in the field of digital youth work and AI, Increasing the quality and innovativeness of non-formal education and youth activities by using AI TOOLS and other digital tools Creating an ethical and safe framework for the use of AI in youth work, Strengthening the capacity of organizations to respond to the digital transformation of the youth work sector, Promoting sustainable and transferable approaches that can be used even after the project ends.
