The project aims to empower disadvantaged young people in Eastern Slovakia to become active, engaged European citizens by creating meaningful opportunities for participation, expression, and dialogue. It seeks to strengthen youth involvement in democratic life, amplify their voices at local and regional levels, and foster structured cooperation between young people and decision-makers. A key objective is to establish a sustainable, youth-led podcast platform where participants can discuss issues important to them, present local initiatives, and explore European opportunities such as Erasmus+. Through active involvement in planning and content creation, participants will develop media literacy, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills while building confidence and recognising their potential as contributors to their communities. The project also promotes social inclusion, intercultural cooperation, and stronger connections between youth and public institutions.
