LPEB Project DescriptionThe project "Professional bachelor in open and distance learning for the energy and environmental performance of buildings in the Russian Federation, China and Azerbaijan" - LPEB, has for the general objective to contribute to the fight against global warming by harnessing the training engineering to operationalize the necessary actions for energy efficiency development in the three beneficiary countries. The analysis of the needs of universities and professionals has led to the emergence of convergent issues and highlighted a lack of qualification on intermediate levels of supervision. Thus, the project accompanies a profound change in professional practices by the deployment of a complete modular system covering all the initial and ongoing training needs in building trades impacted by energy transition and accessible in ODL from digital resources. The project fits not only into the priorities of ministries for the renovation of training courses in accordance with the Bologna process, but also of partner universities with a generalist curriculum that needs to be renovated to meet the needs of companies. The project was established on the basis of a strong partnership to ensure the innovation and sustainability of results: 28 organizations from eight countries (France, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Germany, Azerbaijan, China and Russia) including 18 universities. The main results of the project are as follows: • 3 global strategic plans developed for 3 beneficiary countries;• 3 competency-based job descriptions and 3 bachelor’s degrees titles for the energy and environmental performance of buildings, in line with national priorities and labor market needs that promote the employability of students, created and validated;• More than 700 teacher-researchers trained in curriculum renovation;• 68 renovated and accredited courses, 9 of which are available online:o Azerbaijan: 22 renovated and accredited courses, 3 available online;o Russian Federation: 32 renovated and accredited courses, 5 available online;o China: 14 renovated and accredited courses, including 1 available online.• More than 800 bachelor’s students in Building Energy Efficiency trained or in training; • International cooperation developed, and bilateral double degree agreements or cooperation agreements signed or in the process of signature:o Three double degree agreements currently being signed between the Azerbaijan Universities and the CNAM;o A cooperation agreement on the Master "Energy Performance of Buildings" signed between the Harbin Institute of Technology and the University of Seville;o Five cooperation agreements on student mobility signed between the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and five Russian universities.• More than 30 teacher-researchers from the three countries trained in distance learning techniques (scriptwriting, cyberspace, choice of approach, etc.) and many distance courses registered and available on educational platforms;• More than 30 teacher-researchers trained in "job search techniques" in Azerbaijan and in Russian Federation;• A training module "Entrepreneurship for Building Energy Efficiency" deployed;• Modules for lifelong learning created: Thermal building, Tools for the safety of buildings, Business management in thermal building; Design of technical solutions; Management Process and organization of the company; Bioenergetics.• About 150 professionals trained on at least one LLL module;• Cooperation with building sector companies strengthened;• Three centers of excellence created and endowed with educational resources and a technological platform equipped with technologies necessary for the energy performance of buildings.
Joint project for the modernization of educational programs in climate engineering, regional priority for Russia and China, national priority for Azerbaijan.3 AIMS IN EACH COUNTRY:Reduce skills gaps on intermediate levels (construction site coordinator, design technician) by improving the employability of students and by perfecting corporate executives.Professionalize teaching programs in line with the Bologna Process and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and relocate them partly into companies.Create a professional Bachelor accessible in distance learning for the energy and environmental performance of buildings and a lifelong training program.ACADEMIC KEY PARTNERS:- CNAM Paris- GIPFIPAG - CRVEP - UNINETTUNO- AGCNAM - Universidad de Sevilla- HTWK Leipzig - Azerbaijan Technical University- Harbin Institute of Technology- North-Eastern Federal University - POLITECNICO DI TORINO- UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI PAVIA- Siberian Transport University- Tuvan State University- Irkutsk State Technical University - Far Eastern Federal University- The state institution of vocational education Yakut Municipal Civil Engineering- Dalian University of Technology - BEIJING UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY- Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction- Sumgayit State University- Ural State Mining UniversityEXPECTED RESULTS:3 regional strategic action plans.25 teachers professionalized in the EU.3 job descriptions, 3 professional Bachelors, programs, course content and digitized teaching resources available for distance learning.3 poles of excellence, resource centers and three technology platforms for energy efficiency in buildings.3 didactic cyberspaces.480 students and 150 employees trained on site or by distance learning.3 double diplomas or joint degrees. An action plan for sustainability.
