Project summary

Our “Invigorate via Innovation” project is put forward with the rigorous goal to build capacities of six youth organizations (3 from EaP and 3 from the EU), and invest in the development of 6 young activists from Azerbaijan, Belarus and Moldova, totally 18 fellows through mobility initiatives (job shadowing in the EU). These people will be tangible catalysts and contributors for the creation of unique Training Concept which will be evaluated through local training of trainers, and set the foundation of innovative online trainings aimed to develop experiential and non-formal learning methods of work with marginalized youth (particularly of youth workers with disability themselves). Project partners will collaboratively prepare a capacity building programme (including online and offline trainings), which will be passed on to other youth workers in their countries to increase their organizations’ social impact and visibility. Youth workers from around the world will raise their intercultural/social skills and competences to work with diversity in all its forms which will decrease the number of youth who could be facing social exclusion in their countries. A global peer-learning model which will promote non-discrimination, solidarity and pluralism.Targeting youth workers with fewer opportunities themselves will maximize the empathy with the target group and the degree of human centred design practice of the solution. Facilitators and youth workers from partner organizations will work collaboratively to implement the online trainings, peer-learning web portal and communication software/mediums. Creation and dissemination of online trainings by people from partner countries in their own languages will maximise its intercultural efficiency. The evolving network of change-makers from marginalized communities will allow us to spread the information and to encourage continuation of training sessions all over the world. If we are able to establish a reliable online communication means, that will increase the chances of impactful and long -lasting training for youth organizations to build up their operational capacities. This capacity building will have long-term effects on vulnerable youth all over the world and will support their social inclusion and equal participation in cultural and political life of their communities. The project itself is rather unique since it combines online and real life training dedicated to youth organizations those youth workers are either disadvantaged themselves or work with disadvantaged youths (from around disability area). Our trainings concept aims at adapting all training materials to a level that they suit the needs of sensory and physically handicapped persons. Considering especially marginalized social groups in their capacity building will bring social change and is a valuable contribution to the practical implementation of the UN Convention On The Rights Of Persons With disabilities.
