This project was born from the need to create spaces where organisations and active members from Africa and Europe could learn from each other in order to improve the quality of the work they are doing. There is a long history of international voluntary work in both Sub Saharan Africa and Europe but recently the exchange between Africa and Europe has encountered several problems. The numbers of volunteers going from Europe to Africa has been going down due to various reasons.
